My Dad, you know I’m not good at putting pen to paper. We couldn’t visit him in the last 2 weeks of his life because of the corona virus which we found very hard. But just before that I went to see him in Clacton hospital, he was sitting in his chair, next to his bed all dressed. He just seemed so happy that day, he had a smile on his face and he was telling me lots of stories. I had a good laugh with him, he even said he went to a party the night before. He was in his own little bubble, but happy. And that is the memory of him I want to keep forever. Love David xx

Grandad Fred You welcomed me into you home and heart the first time I met you and from then on you've been my Grandad. You always took an interest in what I was doing and I loved our talks, with or without beer. Even when you were poorly you always made sure to ask how my new job was going. You are forever my Grandad and I thank you for the love and kindness you have shown me. I will always protect Laura, Amber and Theo the way you'd want me to. Thank you x Love Andy
